The true story of Whitey Bulger, the brother of a state senator and the most infamous violent criminal in the history of South Boston, following too many string of his violent actions, he becomes an FBI informant for 30 years in order to take down a Mafia family invading his turf.
The film stars Johnny Depp, Kevin Bacon, Benedict Cumberbatch, Joel Edgerton, Sienna Miller and Dakota Johnson.
Depp is fantastic in this trailer. You know that his mood is going to change on a dime, and the tension is palpable, even though it’s supposed to be a casual meal.
Depp has proven he can play these types of roles very well. Donnie Brasco is a favorite film of mine. With Black Mass, we’ll get to see him on the other side of that setting.
